Molton Brown

As we approach Christmas (where has this year gone), I’ve been trying out different cosmetics to not only add to my gift list but to also add to my toiletry bag for when I visit Glasgow this month.

Here is what has changed since the summer.

Molton Brown

I’ve recently started trying out Molton Brown’s products, starting with their sample range of shower gels. Their 10 piece Christmas range was ideal to get me started and I love so many of the fragrances. Here are some of my favourites:

Black Peppercorn – this has such a heavy scent, similar to a men’s aftershave. Ideal as a base fragrance when heading out on a night out.

Coco & Sandalwood is very much a unisex fragrance, although the Coco is a little overpowering compared to Sandalwood

Eucalyptus – I love minty fragrances and this really clears your head should you be feeling stuffy as the cold & flu season settles in

Simply Soaps

Simply Soaps sell soaps and cleansing products which are 100% natural and wholly organic and don’t use any man made or synthetic ingredients.

I was contacted by them to try out their Hemp Multi Purpose Hair and Body Shampoo soap and their Natural Shaving Soap.

Their Hemp soap has a very unique fragrance which I cannot compare to any other products I’ve tried in the past. However, it leaves your skin very smooth and is great as a facial cleanser.

I’m a huge fan of shaving gels and foams when it comes to shaving so using a shaving soap was a new experience to me. Whilst it does leave your skin feeling softer and does help dry skin, I will be switching back to shaving gels going forward, only for the quickness of the shave.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I can only expect my toiletry bag to get bigger over the next few months, especially after Christmas and into the January sales!
