As I’ve been on a couple of spending sprees of recent, I thought I would share some of my favourites from July.
L’Occitane Men’s Cedrat Travel Kit
My first favourite is my Cedrat Travel Kit from L’Occitane which I bought for my recent trip to Liverpool for my birthday, I thought I would treat myself to some new toiletries and as L’Occitane is my favourite cosmetic brand at the moment, I thought I would give them a shot.
The travel kit comes in a wool-felt bag with a faux leather strap with the company logo embossed on it. The instantly recognisable scent can be picked up upon opening the bag which contains Shower Gel, After Shave Cream Gel and Soap all in the Cedrat fragrence.
Old Forester Bourbon Whiskey
Old Forester bourbon whiskey was first created in 1870 in Louisville by George Garvin Brown during the time when alcohol was banned in the USA. It contains a high amount of rye which means its full bodied with a hint of spice – making it ideal for sipping meat or making a traditional Whisky Smash cocktail.
Kaleo – Way Down We Go
Although its not a summer song, its certainly one I’ve grown to since it appeared in my Spotify Discovery at the beginning of July. Its soulful and great to listen to when travelling or for some quiet time at the end of a busy day.
Jessica Greenfield – Born Again
Again, not a summer song but more upbeat than Kaleo’s track. I happened to stumble upon this from YouTube and I’ve tried to find the track on Spotify but to no avail.
